Other components of a critical importance to the wheels and brake system of an aircraft system are the piston housings. They are attached to the carbon discs of the plane half wheels. Inside the piston housings there are the pistons and hydraulic circuits. The hydraulic fluid actuates the pistons and each piston pushes on the carbon disk which is linked to the wheel and thus breaks the wheel. Setforge manufactures high-quality piston housings made of aluminum alloy. This is a light material which possesses excellent mechanical characteristics and high fatigue resistance when treated with the accurate forging technique. As a subsidiary of Farinia, Setforge shares the group’s commitment to perfection at every single step of the manufacturing process. Our components fulfill all international standards and are recognized by a wide range of industries.
