Casting - Core Making

Core making is an essential part in today foundry operation. Cores are placed in casting molds to produce internal cavities of the casting. Their main advantage is the capability of forming re-entrant angles (negative draft).

FMGC manufactures little and thin cores to bigger ones for sand casting, weighing from several grams up to 6 tons. Our excellent know-how and experience in assembly of cores cover manually or industrial produced components. We also provide hot and cold core boxes with a smooth surface finish and greater resistance to heat.
