A New Course to Obtain a Professional Metalworking Certificate Has Begun
The new session of the CQPM course (Professional Metalworking Certificates) has begun on September 24 at the Bouhyer Foundry. On October 15, 16 and 17, FMGC will host the entire training group for the rest of the theoretical program with a visit of the factory for all trainees.
The training encompasses the preparation for two CQPM certificates: core molder and casting operator and will end on April 7, 2020.
The new CQPM session includes 16 participants and is organized by the following regional foundries:
The objective of the CQPM session is by developing the skills of the employees, to give them the opportunity to obtain a diploma in their profession. Most of the participants have already acquired the practical knowledge about the positions Core Molder and Casting Operator in their daily activities at the foundry. The CQPM training allows them to acquire as well the theoretical part of the job and thus to consolidate their skills. All this results in a well-deserved recognition of their profession and know-how.
